People who have been subjected to childhood sexual abuse and their families and friends contact us for a variety of reasons.
Survivors of childhood sexual abuse may face a range of issues, effects of abuse and emotions, which may include:
- Fear and/or consequences of not being believed
- Shame
- Guilt
- Depression
- Low self-esteem
- Self-blame
- Suicidal feelings
- Concerns about relationships
- Health and safety concerns.
We are able to refer professionals and survivors to a range of supports including:
